After over a year of anticipation, we are pleased to announce that Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop Eastside will host its grand opening next month with a deluxe menu showcasing all your favorites and some new, long-awaited requests.
Word of a second Sugar Mama’s spread shortly after our win on The Food Network’s show Cupcake Wars. The official address of our new, Manor Road location was announced just over a year ago, but in that year we have been perfecting our concept and construction of the newest Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop, hoping to deliver the ultimate in old-fashioned, Southern dessert and decadence.
The new location will feature all of our signature, daily flavors of cupcakes from the light and lovely Marilyn Monroe to the rich and indulgent James Brown. In addition to your favorite cupcakes, we will also offer brand new dessert bars and cookies.
It is also our pleasure to announce that after many requests,we will be selling seasonal cakes and pies by the slice! Yes, after countless pleas from our fans, everyone will now be able to enjoy their favorite Sugar Mama’s cakes and pies served in single, elegant slices. In addition to full size versions of our already legendary pies, cheesecakes are being added to the menu after requests received from fans of our rare, but delicious cheesecake bars. Like cakes and pies, slices of cheesecake will also be available by the slice.
Starting in August, we will have an evening menu of rotating fancy desserts, with the same Sugar Mama's nostalgic twist. And without further ado, we are pleased to inform our fans that our highly anticipated cocktail bar will include a selection of beers, wines, champagne, and cocktails on tap personally curated by Sugar Mama’s owners Steve & Olivia O'Neal, alongside the award winning team at Tipsy Texan. It is our hope that all of our desserts will pair beautifully with our selection of wines, making a stop at Sugar Mama’s Bakeshop Eastside ideal for dessert after dinner or an indulgent night out with friends.
